Click/download Registration Form and fill it out. Mail to P.O. Box 1391, Duluth, 30096 along with registration fee. Please email debby_d@bellsouth.net (with your name and instrument) when you put the registration in the mail so you can be included in the marching program!

Concert Uniforms - Has your student outgrown their concert dress or tuxedo? Do you have a student who is graduating and no longer needs their concert uniform?

If you would like for us to try and sell your concert dress or tux on consignment, please use the following guidelines. On a 3 X 5 index card, print clearly, student's full name, parent's full name, mailing address, phone number, and size of garment. Please safety pin this information onto garment and hang on the empty rack in the band uniform room (room behind Mrs. Keck's office). We will be selling consignments in July during band camp.

Band Facebook for Current Band Students
a Facebook has been set up for the band to distribute information (because so many of our students do not check their email accounts). This Facebook is for one-way communication > to the students. This information will be the same as what is sent out in email to the parents. Emails will continue to go to parents and students. If we need to add your email to our distribution list, please email request (along with your name/student name) to: debby_d@bellsouth.net

To access this, students must login to their Facebook account click Search (top left corner) type in> DHS Band News - click 1st link (drawing of wildcat). If students join they will receive notification of postings.

(This is by no means pushing students to use Facebook. The emails will continue to go to all parent and student accounts we have on file. This is just another method to enhance communication.)

2008 -2009 Corporate Sponsorships

Sponsorships:

We ask that every student obtain a sponsor (or more!) which benefits both the students band account and the band as a whole. We have 2 options for sponsors below including a variety of sponsorship levels. Any business is a potential band sponsor – the number of businesses out there that would love to participate is tremendous.

1. Band Sponsorships:

We ask that if you frequent or use a business in the Duluth Area (restaurants, shops, service companies, etc.) or even a friend, ask if they would sponsor the band. As an incentive, 50% of the amount of any sponsorship obtained up to $250 max per sponsor will be credited to the students band account.

Maestro Sponsor , $2000+ --- $250 into student account
Symphonic Sponsor $1500 --- $250 into student account
Trailer Logo Only Sponsor $1000 --- $250 into student account
Concert Sponsor $500 --- $250 into student account
Jazz Sponsor $250 --- $125 into student account
Ensemble Sponsor $100 --- $50 into student account
Solo Sponsor $50 --- $25 into student account

Link to letter and explanation of what the business will receive with each level of sponsorship. Bring copies of this letter with you when you talk to businesses (leave a copy with them).
